Lord Conrad is a leading republican who had been largely responsible for the separation of Aspinia in Shining Force III and is the father of Lord Synbios. Before the events of Shining Force III Scenario 1: God Warrior of the Kingdom, he was struck with an illness that caused him to be restricted to his home in Aspinia, requiring him to send his son Synbios in his steed.
