Zest Graham (ゼスト・グレアム Zesuto Gureamu) is one of the antagonists from Shining Resonance. Zest is one of the empire’s strongest soldiers. A man that loves engaging in combat with opponents stronger than himself, regardless of whether they’re an ally or an enemy, he shows a complete lack of interest in anyone else who isn’t up to par.[1]

Personality[]
As he goes to the beat of his drum according to his own values in contrast to the will of his country, his superiors’ control over him is tenuous, to put it lightly. Although he’s officially affiliated with Beowulf, the Church of the Seal’s special forces, not even Georg as the leader can keep him in line.[1]
Despite his alliance with the Sanguine Church, Zest actually hates them with a passion. He desires revenge for them and the Lombaridan Kingdom slaying his kingdom and his family, choosing to use their strength against them. Ironically, this actually makes him the most compatible with Deus, but defers such to Georg out of disinterest.
Gameplay[]
Although he normally has his abnormal strength kept under wraps, Zest can fully unleash it by shooting at a seal placed over his heart. Whether Yuma and the others can keep him in check, though, is another question entirely.[1]
History[]
Zest reveals to Sonia that he was once a prince from a distant kingdom. One day, he watched the Lombardian Empire slay his parents, friends, and even his little sister...to which he vowed revenge. He joined the Sanguine Church in hopes of using their own power against them but lost himself to his own power and desire for strength.
