Zylo is a Wolfling warrior optional playable character in the games Shining Force: The Legacy of Great Intention and Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon.

Background
Edit
Zylo is a wolfling from the mountains outside Bustoke. When Runefaust invaded Bustoke, the soldiers put something in Zylo's drink to make him go crazy. The people of Bustoke had to lock Zylo up for their safety. After Max rescues the men of Bustoke from the Quarry he makes the Lunar Dew to cure Zylo of his madness. Apparently the Lunar Dew cures Zylo immediately. Zylo tells Max he can never repay him for saving him so he joins the Shining Force. The people of Bustoke all have great respect for Zylo and see him as a great ally and protector. One girl tells Max that Zylo is a warwolf warrior and can fight better than anyone in the woods.

Zylo is a born fighter who'd rather fight than talk, as evidenced by his lack of things to say when you talk to him in Headquarters in Resurrection of the Dark Dragon.
StrategyEdit
Zylo's first battle is the type he was born for - forests and mountains. The terrain in this area barely even effects him. He enters the game at Level 9 and will level up fast as long as you leave him in the front with a healer nearby just in case. He is super-strong once levelled up, however compared to some other characters he is a bit weaker, probbably because he doesn't use a weapon. His stats also go down after he is promoted and is weaker than old Zylo, but if you keep him in the front picking off every enemy he can get his claws on he'll raise his stats back up in a little while. Zylo has high speed and can ambush enemies and take them down very fast. Putting him in the front line is good as well. His movement is high and has very good defence. Like most warriors, Zylo does not have any magic resistance. He is almost similar to Zuika with only three differences. Zylo takes much more damage while Zuika can inflict very high damage. Zuika is also effected by terrain.

Zylo can cast no spells but he does do a "Spirit-Wolf-Head" attack after he's promoted.

- Zylo sometimes goes hunting with Diane.
- Zylo wears socks, but his toes are left uncovered, due to his claws. In "Resurrection of the Dark Dragon", after his promotion, he is totally barefoot.
